A Search For God Study Groups
The
Search for GodŽ Study Group Program was formed in 1931. Several members asked
Cayce to provide readings on ways to develop their psychic abilities. Instead,
Cayce gave a series of readings in which he emphasized that psychic ability is
not an end in itself, but rather a natural byproduct of a life of service and
inner exploration. The group began weekly meetings to discuss the readings in
depth and apply the principles to their daily lives. The result of their work
with Cayce over eleven years was compiled into A Search for God, Books I and II.
Today these books serve as the curriculum for a worldwide spiritual discussion
group program. It is a great way to learn the Cayce readings, become part of the
A.R.E. community, and meet like-minded friends.
